The team pinpoints the central problems: Even though nearly all data is recorded somewhere in the company, it is not readily available for day-to-day work as the data storage structures are too fragmented. The solution is to combine all relevant information in a central database, to adopt intelligent interfaces for automatic data synchronization and to design an efficient web-based user interface to ensure ease of use.
